Had a new windshield put in today. No more fine scratches and pits to distract me from seeing the road beyond!

Got excited enough, talking about it...had to go put a new pair of these on...



Since that didn't take much effort, I swapped out the over-sized 1156 red LEDs ("7.5-watt cree" bulbs) indicator bulbs for these normal-bulb sized 1156 red LEDs:



They're not quite as crazy bright as the "cree" ones, and I am not sold on the brightness difference on the dual-filament 1157 versions, but as single filament/brightness, they're at least on par with a real 1157 bulb. And they're half the cost of the crees:
