The open bed is hard to beat at times, but there's a lot to be said about one big space. I just realized I don't have a picture of my panel van in my album. But here's the barn-door bus that preceded it:

Yeah, all three of those should be in my collection, but the most I'll every be able to do is Photoshop the neighbor's white trailer out of the picture.
