I have the ScanGauge that can monitor coolant temp. If I have a device that can clip on and clip off the outside of the grill I can use it for my short trips taking better half to work, then leave it in the garage when I take my longer journeys, when the car gets a chance to heat up. As at least a third of my motoring is trips of 4 miles or less it could make a substantial difference.
