Gearing is the biggest problem with the k series aftermarket support,
Also none of the factory trans are really, eco minded with MAYBE an exception for the accord trans having a 0.66 overdrive. however the accords gearing is mainly to help haul around a heavy car.
The tallest final drive(widely available) is a staggering 4.389.... Which is what i am using. The 4.105 is avalble from other markets .Honda counter-shaft and ring gear part numbers are 41233-RAP-000 and 23221-RAP-000 btw.
at like ~$600 ......
OR get some real eco gearing from
Custom Final Drive Gears
for $1200 but they have a 3.4!!!! can you say +60mpg!!!
