When I bought my '95 Miata in 1998, it was remarkable how much better the MPG and performance numbers were for the MX-3, their FWD sports coupe. Unfortunately, it wasn't a Miata. Wonder how much of that difference was just due to RWD, vs all other factors.

Always wanted to splice a motor into the driveline for a performance hybrid Miata, but decided on a full electric Karmann Ghia instead..
