I am planning on purchasing a vw passat. I already have a passat that i bought for my mom (2010 1.8 TSI, 6.3L/100km my current average).
It has a dsg and i am fairly happy eith it except when parked on steep hills where it sucks. For my purchase dsg will not be a deciding factor unless the start stop feature can be hacked on the manual transmission so i can do engine off coasting. I searched the forum but was unable to find anything.
Has this been done before? Tjese cars do not really have a key anymore so it is not possible to switch the engine off
