For a normal petrol engine you'll be able to do the usual kill switch and bump start, but you'll also have to switch off stop/start at the same time.
P&G with EOC is for NA engines with low gearing. In a high geared turbo there's little point to it, and in some cars, it's actually worse.
I know the 1.2TSI shows around 0.4l/hr at idle (the 1.8 a bit higher obviously), so it's really not worth the effort of a kill switch, just use neutral coast.
