Are you going to use the same style mounting as BMW does with the rear suspension? Was thinking it would be kinda cool if you could build a cage to hold the power unit, then the cage would use the factory suspension mounts (Including the bushings) , you'd be able to drop the whole power assembly as a unit, make it easy to fiddle with. I have a E46, 3 series ,, assuming the E31 is similar?
Put double A-arms on the cage for the suspension and use the stock BMW hubs?
