I'd agree that the hybrids go for less... try trading into a dealer and see what they offer.. you'll tell them to piss off and sell on the street and even there you'll sit on it for a while trying to get a buyer. It's because the batteries can go out anytime and it's a very high cost to replace them unless you are an intelligent do it yourselfer. Non-Hybrids have no such worries. I bought an older Prius pretty cheap because of the lower cost and decided to gamble it as I know I can replace a few cells if I have to and the Prius has a very good track record. BTW, I almost always favor Hondas... my favorite by far...except for a Hybrid.
