Swapping the engine and transmission out of a Sprinter might not be such a big deal, I just wonder how it would integrate to the 4WD setup.

He's going to swap the engine, from the stock 2.5 to the 1.9, there was no factory-fit for the 1.9 into the Touareg anyway.
