In my country, old Chevy engine swaps into E36 Bimmers became somewhat of a trend. More frequently the Iron Duke, but there are also some fitted with the late-type Stovebolt Six too. I have seen only one fitted with a V8, but it was not an LS.

Having many different vehicles would be cool, but now I'd be more inclined toward a random Asian forward-control van. Maybe shoehorning a tuned V8 into it wouldn't be totally out of question though...
