Yes, there are other, scarier consequences from nuclear disasters, but... We cheerfully accept disasters on that financial scale all the time and rebuild the
same buildings in the
same places almost every time. There's nothing magically dangerous about nuclear disasters, and we do everyone a disservice by not pursuing it more.
