Found an interesting web site for UK energy production. It shows the make up of the sources of electricity at the moment in time. Currently 5pm it is roughly 50% CCGT, 20% nuclear and 20% wind. The rest is coming from other sources such as solar. coal and hydro. We are also selling energy to France and Ireland while buying some from the Netherlands.
