Every one of my chargers outlasted their respective phones, and I never had problems with charging. I follow simple rules:
- never leave charger in AC outlet ( ?wall socket?) when not in use
- do not use (phone, walk, surf etc) while charging
- Plug and unplug softly, keep socket clean
- Full charge, full discharge
- do not bend cables
