Finding one actually meant for vehicular usage that would be road-legal in America is challenging, but anyway, aren't those Yanmar TNV still widely used in those refrigerator units for trucks back there? Though I'm not sure if the 2-cyl variants were actually used on them, the 3-cyl one remains popular at least in my country.
Bigger ones meant for semi-trailers use the 4-cyl engine to power the refrigeration unit, and now there are versions fitted with common-rail injection, while the smaller ones with fewer cylinders still usually resort to the old-school IDI.
