Fabricating the wing/pylon would be challenging.The 'outside' of each,would have to be fabricated over an 'inside',producing a properly ducted airway.Like investment casting,in which a lost wax insert is built over,then the wax is melted away,leaving a perfectly configured inside surface inside the structure.
