The CVTs have been very reliable in these cars so far. We have a fleet maintenance guy on the forum and he has had one CVT failure so far and the car had 190k hard miles on it.
He later found that there is a replaceable filter (not specced to be changed per the manual), and he has sourced replacement filters for them.
