Some years ago there was a Brazilian who deveoped a device that allowed 2-stroke engines to operate without pre-mix, relying on oil recirculation instead. But anyway, I wonder if that Ryger engine would effectively overcome the NOx issue that halted the development of the direct-injection Orbital engine for automotive applications.
