Yes, it's summer here by now, and yesterday my mom basically dragged me to the beach, but a few months ago when it was still winter here I had a talk with a guy who owns an 8th-generation Honda Civic and he told me he actually feels a very subtle increase in fuel-efficiency when the outside temperature is colder (not freezing, yet still cold) or when there is more moisture in the air. Since those conditions would allow the engine to remain on its ideal operating temperature while leaning the mixture, that makes sense.
