Well there are exceptions to my comment about radically new cars being accompanied by radically hideous exterior design. The first Tesla was built on an existing car, so that doesn't count. Their second car, the S, is very attractive. Same with Model 3.

While the current trend is outrageously huge grills, I look forward to when our tastes prefer minimal, or no grill at all.
