The setting is in the ETACS (Electronic Time & Alarm Control System) ecu, not the engine ecu.

There is a free program called ETACS decoder that you can use to change settings in the ETACS ecu to enable and disable options. Fog lights for example are another ETACS software setting. Why? I have no idea. I understand why you may want to have computer control over them, but not why you'd want to disable them if they're not even electrically hooked up (aka not there).

I took a bunch of screen shots while messing around in the etacs decoder software. I'll see if I can find some rev data.
