Slightly older, but interesting article on how the Model 3 battery differs from the Model S (with lots of nice pictures).

The most interesting thing to me: they did away with the separate battery heater and use the motor inverter to lock up the motor and produce no torque, but heat and the liquid cooling/heating circuit is heated by this effect.
