Well thats not a surprise. Driver skill is dropping. Back in early 80's we had no nanny aids to help driver. I was taught to drive in 3 drifferent cars. Had lessons in snow and at night. Had to learn how to control car through candance braking and opposite lock on slipper surfaces. Night driving was taught correct use of head lights and how to spot hazzards in bad light. Spent hours driving in crowded narrow urban roads and wide open spaces with livestock on unfenced roads.These skills do not seem to be taught any more.
