Opera boasts they are the only major browser that blocks bitmining. My friend says every smart user has javascript turned off by default. Somehow I clicked on the wrong thing and it seems some script all but froze my computer on Monday. I kept closing Chrome, reopening it, and going through my tabs in the second or two before it became unusable. I finally found a red page claiming my accounts were at risk, blah blah blah. Once I closed that everything worked fine.

I just do not have any idea how to turn off Javascript on the school's computer. I cannot even approve system updates!
