Hahahahahaha oh that reminds me of the first time my cousin I. Austria tried to let me drive his Golf. I launched similarly and was not allowed to return to the drivers' seat. I was 14.

I'm still not sure how to actually teach someone else to drive stick. I've heard a couple of folks say it's better to let someone else do it so that it's less likely you'll get impatient with each other.
