You would think that by observing the shortcomings of the system, it would put you at heightened readiness to take over. I'd certainly be paying attention if an uncommanded lane change was occurring. Still, autopilot needs to get a whole lot better. I wonder what the stats are for miles driven per incident compared with human driving?
