More to the point, it can be transported to another state on a trailer without the body sliding off. Odds are rising that it might happen before the planned move in 2020.

And yes, I can re-mount the Firebird's driver's seat, reattach the steering column, and reinstall all of the electronics at any point and drive it if I get the urge.

I am thinking the next two steps are to complete any welds around the driver's floor and create the extended intermediate steering shaft. That will open up options in case life takes an unusual turn in the coming year.
