Parts came in. Went to put the new brake rotors in and service the pads - they were Raybestos and had about half the pad left - but hit a snag...



The friction material was no longer attached! Had to run out and buy pads locally; so much for trying to save a few bucks.

Together again:



Trying Wagner brand of rotors. Interested to see how they hold out. On the surface, they seem pretty decent...

No more brake pulse. Quiet and smooth stops now.

And put on "new" shoes for the season:



Of course that couldn't go smooth either. Now she pulls to one side...I'll try swapping the tires around and see if that clears it up. Interested to see how much quieter it is without winter tires. Fingers crossed!
