I had to avoid a dangerous very large rotating, golf ball hail producing storm that was spawning other storms around it a few days ago. Luckily I was in the firebird.
I guess if I was in the leaf I could have sat there just to see what golf ball size hail would do to a leaf.
Thunderstorms here aren't like thunder storms in MA. I remember living on the east coast and people freaking out over pea size hail. Pea and dime size here is a regular occurrence.
New England thunderstorms are maybe an inconvenience, here they can kill you.
I have no problem pumping gas and diesel with out electricity. I have a 37 gallon diesel tank that's gravity feed, my diesel suburban can dispense diesel from its 42 gallon tank, plus three 5 gallon diesel cans then for gasoline I have my trailer mounted 17.5kw generator trailer its 16.5 gallon tank can gravity feed fill cars or gas cans, three 5 gallon gas cans plus a small 2 gallon can for 2 stroke gas for the chain saws and weed eater.
I can go for a few days with out needing liquid fuel.
