Yeah, that's my wife driving, I'm sure she has a bunch of wasted idle time. Whenever I drive it I often reset the dash readout and i have no problem getting over 20 even just around town. On the 8 mile more highway run to my daughter's house I routinely keep it over 30 on the gauge. The numbers I posted are not those short runs but whole tank hand calculated numbers. Our van also has that "eco" button which I leave on all the time. I really think that makes a big difference and that mode is not allowed to be used in the EPA testing cycle. It really keeps the RPM down on an otherwise almost 300 horsepower engine. It shifts much earlier. One time I pulled out on the highway tires squealing and I thought, what the heck? Then I noticed that eco mode button had gotten turned back off. It is night and day on power so must be helping with mpg as well.
