I suggested it for the method of construction of the shell. Not the overall dimensions and outboard fenders. Take what you need and leave the rest.

Unless there is an air-tight seal to the back of the tow vehicle, making it a little larger might benefit reattachment of the air flow. In a cross-flow condition would bigger or smaller be better?
