Seems pointless to me since people drive supercars on shorter trips just to be seen and to have fun. If you aren't driving long distance, then a supercar should just be all electric. It's way easier to make a ridiculously fast car that is electric.

Probably the easiest thing would be to take an AWD car and disconnect the driveline to the rear wheels, and then attach an electric motor in its place.

Either that, or take a rear-engine rear wheel drive car, chop the front end off, and attach it to a FWD hybrid.
