My wife drives a 2006 Odyssey EX (no cylinder deactivation).
it has 140,000 miles and new PCV and EGR.
she gets 20 around town and we get 26 on the highway with cruise set at 72. I haven't seen a real mpg advantage to driving 55 or 60-the van seems to be geared for 65-70. (conclusion based on the 240 mile highway roundtrip we do constantly)
I use Dash Command app for long trips and I did notice the mileage go down as the temperature climbed into the mid 90's.
In the winter she preheats the car and it idles a lot so she gets about 16-18.

very reliable- our first honda I agree they are a great brand.
