The blower motor circuitry has 1 output to the motor. 1 power input and one signal input.
Besides that this is all I know (from the linked thread):
“They used three FETs. I assume that the fault was in the driver stage as the FETs that i removed still were in working.”
So transistor based system should be more efficient. Unless they are using it in analog mode. I do not understand why they did not use PWM to begin with.
