I'll probably end up fabbing mounts with collaboration from a fellow nearby swapper since Hasport has serially delayed the release of their swap mounts since I started asking in 2016. I have plenty of questions but the most pertinent ones are:

1. How did you wire everything? I'm assuming with Kpro you went with 02-04 RSX base harness, cable throttle swap (All TSX is DBW), some kind of conversion harness to the dash, and base RSX ECU? Electronics is my weakest area so any info in rudimentary language would be appreciated.

2. You've run two front suspension options: Civic knuckles on stock Insight struts (with 3mm spacers) and full Civic fronts. What top hat did you use to retain stock geometry with option #2?

3. I can't help missing temp but maybe speed and AC: Your 04 RSX trans should be low frequency and not need a convertor box but I may be mistaken. If I am, Dakota Digital makes a box that will convert the signal to be read by your speedometer (info in link below). Are you running the stock cluster? The AC on a TSX is run not by the ECU but the CAN-BUS, stock Insight is analog ECU. The Kpro should have an option to allow the AC to function (I don't have first-hand knowledge of this).

4. A stock Insight fuel pump will run a stock K24a2 but the fuel trims will be slightly off 12% or so [Thank Ryanthegreat1 for this info]. A stock TSX (or 03-07 Accord I'd imagine) fuel pump is almost a direct fit so long as you swap resistor components and have a returnless fuel system. Earlier manual Insights had return fuel systems. All CVT and later manuals had returnless.

That's all for now. No doubt there will be more lol.

Thanks for the reply Mak, I'll try to make this concise and quick.

1a 04 rsx base harnes with the ecu E pigtale and C101 plug from the same car (the same as ones are avalable on the element and CRV, so pretty easy to find)

1b I just found an online copy of the Honda electronics trouble shooting manual, and wired everything in myself 1 wire at a time... surprisingly about half of the wires were even color coded the same. As a start this should get you going.

1c I used a 2004 accord throttle body, its a direct bolt on to the tsx plenum (04-05 anyway) the tps signal has to be inverted, just swap the outside 2 wires on the plug

1d I am using an mpguino as my speedometer, ATM I have limited functionality of the stock instrument cluster.

2a ATM civic knuckles in insight struts with spacers. I have Tein coil-overs for an em2 civic that I am waiting on the arrival of a revalue kit and custom springs (only $120 for the pair) they should work with the stock insight tophat

3a No converter box needed with the 02-04 rsx trans Kpro V4 will work with either, but you may need a converter box for the cluster with the counter-shaft driven speedos (accord ,+05 rsx)
3b believe it or not, the ac was BY FAR the easiest part of the swap...... used an accord ac compressor, and only had to modify ONE line, the short high pressure line from the compressor to the condenser, and all that had to be done was rotate the fitting 90 degrees, and extend it by 1". the plug for the clutch (on the insight chassis harness) plugged directly into the ac compressor from an 05 accord. as for wiring, it was only 2 wires from the same pigtail (ecu a plug i believe) that i moved over. one went to the RSX e plug #18 and the other went to the vtec pressure sensor (B9 on the RSX ecu) When VTP (pin B9) is grounded the AC clutch will be switched on by the ECU. other than the relocation of those 2 wires, NOTHING was changed in regards to the stock Ac system.

4 my car being an 02 5MT had a return stile system from the factory, so I simply used an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator with 2 inputs. one input is just acting as a T and sending fuel to the k series return-less stile fuel rail. I plan on switching to a walborro 255 as i would like to run e85 for track days.

5 No, but he definitely has that look. He is what we assume to be a black lab , pitbull mix.

Feel free to hit me up with anything else!
