If there really was an issue though wouldn't you be getting a CEL? Regardless of the MPG readout?
Torque has a bug where above 100 MPG the trip average goes up slowly, but at 99 MPG it goes up fast - almost as if at above 100 MPG it changes the variables to make it count for less or something. Makes me almost want a scangauge or something, but not if it does that like you're saying.
