My Bachelors' are from Arizona State, but they only accept the top 11% of applicants for their Master's program.
With a 2.88, I am probably in the bottom 11%.
My employer pays SLPs $15 an hour more than SLPAs. Also I would be able to do evaluations. Right now I am waiting for an SLP to drive from Phoenix to evaluate six of my clients.
I have only seen six clients each of the last two weeks, so that would be beneficial.
There are five openings for SLPs in this community of 100,000 people. There are zero for SLPAs.
I try hard, but undoubtedly additional education would help me be a better therapist.
