From another thread of mine, my rpm numbers with the 3.45 look similar to your final numbers Ecky.
2270 rpm / 55 mph / 4th gear (1:1)
2127 rpm / 65 mph / 5th gear (.79)
1793 rpm / 55 mph / 5th gear (.79)*
*about 80% of my daily work commute
