That is so cool. I agree it's almost a perfect donor vehicle. If you did a batch of Prii, how many hours to bring each one to this point?
Don't hesitate to cut the wheel openings, Ghias typically overhang the tire anyway. Raised flares and an airdam would tie it all together.

I made fender flares of a VW bus once by having a sheet metal shop cut a sector* of a circle that I bent into a sector of a cone and riveted it on. On a Ghia you'd have to order a wide sector and trim the outer edge to fit.
*Sector or segment? I'm thinking of a partial ring.
