Mine has been working like a million bucks since bypassing that transistor circuit. NO glitches since, not even one. And its still been hot here too.

I think mine got too hot in my car being probably 100+ degress in there with the stupid glass t-tops baking the interior (ac doesn't work either), need to make pizza box sunshades for that.
