I have a Moto G5, which works well enough though my wife's Samsung A6 seems nicer.
But my battery is replaceable, and new. I'd always go new especially if the battery isn't replaceable.
I have a plastic screen protector with a few tiny specs in between it and the glass... if you want one add it right when you unbox the phone in a dust free environment
I had it in my left trouser pocket until it started to reset itself (!). It looked slightly warped... So I now carry it in the right pocket. No more shutdowns.
