My 2013 3.5 had~265k on it when I sold it, zero problems and the valves were clean. Ford builds hundreds of thousands of DI engines a year, very very few have problems with the valves and those problems are usually related to wrong oil or oil change interval. Most people either drive to far between changes, or use an oil with a high NOAK rating.

Also, a 300.0 catch can eliminates the problem, completely.
