Sure it's not about "saving the world". You know, the methane amount on that raw biogas has a longer half-life when released wide-open in the atmosphere, while the COČ resulting of its combustion can also be absorbed by vegetables and effectively close the carbon cycle. Sometimes it seems like bureaucrats need to create a false problem in order to use that as an excuse to sell false solutions, which by the way are usually more expensive than avoiding the problem at once.
