Being Dutch (and therefore also used to cycling between 25-85F) the best advice I can give you is try and breath trough your nose most of the time. This is your body's built in WAI and it helps an awful lot. When your stamina improves, you'll notice that the lungburn will decrease by itself. How I read it you're both overasking your lungs in capacity and temperature-sensitivity
