I’m in better shape now than when I started. The first week I would about pass out after making a 12min trip to work, and now when weather cooperates I can usually do 10min and change, and have managed an 8:50 run home (2.2mi) when motivated to push it... part of me thinks that if I would intentionally show down to take around 15 min in the cold I’d be fine, but since I don’t have any way of judging speed I don’t seem to actually limit my speed much...
