Hoopie, between this build and your first with the '41 Chevy pickup, which do you think is better/easier? Which would you recommend someone else try?

Big difference obviously is that this time your using the whole Prius chassis, while with the truck you chopped it off at the rear wheels and welded the two frames together.

I'm trying to decide what kind of vehicle I want to do this with. Old rusty trucks are all around me out here in Kansas, a few are rust free enough to consider. I think I'll have to give up on the Beetle idea for now, too hard to fit, unless I find a Yaris or something smaller i.e. a smart car.

I might pick up the rear-ended Prius on Sunday. That gives me a few days to figure it out... or come to my senses and change my mind! My wife is not helping though, she gave me the go-ahead, so long as I don't slack on my house chores (not her words, but they were implied )

What I would really like to do is get the Prius dash inside the cab of the truck. Use all the Prius controls, gauge cluster, etc. That will be the hard part.
