They show some up close footage of the battery pack in that vid and it appeared that some one tore into the battery to harvest some cells for reverse engineering. The battery pack does not appear to be "take a part able" with out a hammer and chisel.
Unlike a leaf battery where once I get the clam shell of the battery pack open I can easily take it apart the cell stack it's self with my electrician tools. Which are just insulated versions of common hand tools.
