Apparently multi-quote only works for three quotes. More than that seems to be unreasonable, but I will not allow that to stop me! In no particular order:

Unless my car sounded like William Daniels, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, or Douglas Rain, I do not want it talking to me. I usually turn off the voice on my GPS, but there are times that I would rather make turns and not hold a phone in my hand, glancing at it regularly.
My GPS had an accent for a while. Now it is in Spanish.

I have never heard anyone use rods. I mentioned acres originally and Fat Charlie brought up furlongs. There are times when you want to divide by three or another number besides 10 and times when you want to divide by a multiple of 10. A mile factors down to 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 11. I do not know how often you want to divide by 11. There are 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 acres in a mile, so it is easy to divide that, but I knew someone that lived on a third of a mile.
That gets complicated.
What if you want a square property that is an acre? Everybody knows there are 43,560 square feet in an acre! Well, that square would be 208.71032557111303591192697393256 feet on each side, or 208 feet, 8 inches, 33.53/64ths.
Yeah. Weird.
I think they could have picked more efficient numbers.
Also, California is on fire. How much has burned? Tens of thousands of acres.
So... how much as burned? How many people really know how big an acre is?
