There was a while when I met many illiterate adults. They said "Our parents didn't teach us to read, they taught us to work!"

I cannot tell you how many times I figured out how to do something by reading.

Successful families have different priorities than unsuccessful ones. If your dad is an attorney, you very well will pursue something lucrative that requires a higher education. If your dad works at McDonald's, you very well may spend your time at McDonald's telling your coworkers how you will become a great athlete and\or rapper.

I am not even sure that I can become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I really need to sign up for one or more classes for next semester and apply to grad school again, but I estimate a high possibility of failure of both endeavors.

Perhaps the best-case scenario is that I sign up for seven credits again, my agency gives me twelve new clients, and I earn enough to pay for the school before I start losing hours.

Many people would tell me that I need to be positive, etc.

I have a history of failure. I just watched a two-hour video for work three times and still guessed on 2/10 questions.

Good times!
