Mine is held on with Velcro, at the top edge and on a horizontal support that's about in the middle that sticks forward from the original lower edge of the bumper.
Good at 100 MPH. Forward. Not good backwards in the grass. But it went right back on.
Takes about 30 seconds to peel it off to put the car in the trailer.
